Heritage Window Replacement at Ottawa's Central Experimental Farm

Like many older buildings, the Arc Biotech Building had its original multi-paned wood sash windows replaced at some point with aluminum, a practical decision at the time but one that Parks Canada's own heritage character statement identified as a loss.
Their record noted that the original windows were a defining architectural element, and that when replacements reached the end of their service life, the building's heritage character would be enhanced by returning them to their original appearance. When Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada was ready to do exactly that, they turned to Ultimate Windows, Doors & More.
