Rideau Garden | Marvin Ultimate Windows in Ottawa - A Project in Progress

This one is still under wraps, but we couldn't wait to share a first look.

In a quiet Ottawa neighbourhood, a major renovation is underway, and the windows are just going in.

The project is a whole-home renovation built around a bold glazing strategy: floor-to-ceiling Marvin Ultimate picture windows in the front, high clerestory units along the sides that draw in light from under the soffit, and a series of large fixed panels overlooking the rear yard and pool. The result, even at this stage, is a home that feels completely transformed.

The Marvin Ultimate collection was specified throughout. With its clean, slim profiles and expansive glass areas, the Ultimate collection is well-suited to the home's contemporary direction. A combination of fixed and operable units, including awning windows for ventilation, gives the envelope exactly the balance it needs.

Installation was handled by our Ottawa team in partnership with Gamble Construction, whose carpentry work frames the windows beautifully, even at this pre-finish stage.

We'll be back with the finished result. For now, the before is already something worth seeing.
