The Bayridge House sits above the Kennebecasis Bay with the kind of presence you'd expect from an elevated waterfront property. The approach alone, through a winding gated driveway, sets the tone: the exterior is composed and timeless, with the interior opening into bright, detailed spaces with extended views over the water.

Built by Craftsman Construction and designed by Ardezen Design Group, the home is full of details that hold your attention. The trim work is crisp and substantial, the cabinetry and millwork custom in every room, and the kitchen bright and refined. But it's the windows and doors that make the water the main character, wherever you're standing.

We supplied the full Marvin package for Bayridge, and a home like this called for a few different products working together rather than one simple move.

French Sliding Doors

Throughout the main living spaces, Marvin's French sliding doors give Bayridge the divided, traditional look, without giving up the ease of a sliding door. The exterior stays classic and coastal, but day-to-day, the doors operate as easily as any modern slider. That balance, traditional in profile, effortless in use, is exactly what the French sliding door line is built for.

Multi-Slide Doors

Where the home opens most dramatically to the bay, a multi-slide door stacks or pockets away to erase the line between the gathering spaces and the water beyond. It's the kind of feature that turns a beautiful view into a lived-in one, letting the main floor spill outside.

Ultimate Casement Windows

Casements from the Marvin Ultimate collection handle the bulk of the glazing, chosen for their clean sightlines and the weathertight seal casements are known for, an important detail on an exposed waterfront site like this one. Wood interiors keep the warmth going room to room, while the exterior cladding stands up to what a bay-front property sees every winter.

Arched Specialty Shape Window

One of the most memorable moments in the house is a custom arched window, a specialty shape that softens the home's otherwise traditional lines and gives one of the gathering spaces its own personality. It's a straightforward custom shape for Marvin, a good example of what their specialty shapes program handles routinely.

Custom Stained Wood Front Door

At the entry, a custom stained wood front door sets the tone before you're even inside, its stain picking up the same wood tones carried through the exterior and echoed again in the flooring once you're in. Warm, thoughtfully scaled, and built to the same standard as everything behind it, it's the first thing you touch at Bayridge, and it was important to us that it felt as considered as the rest of the house.
